AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS: -

1. Crackdown on Drug Traffickers: The railway police as stepped up its pressure against drug traffickers and has made some major seizures in past few  months.

2. To restrain the narcotic drugs The railway police has registered sixty seven cases under the 31-8-07 and has arrested 43 persons accused under the puppy husk 456 kg 600 gm, 223 gm. opium, 27 kg 790 gm, 328 gm. Charas, 178 gm. smack, 

3. Recovery of Arms  Under this head a special campaign was launched from 5-7-07 to 5-8-07. During this period 35 case registered in which 33 persons arrested, 6 Desi pistol, 29 knives, 3 cartridges recovered from them.

4. Arresting proclaimed offenders/Bail jumpers  A special campaign was launched for arresting proclaimed offenders and Bail jumpers with effect from 1-5-07 to 20-5-07. During this period 35 proclaimed offenders and 10 Bail jumpers were arrested

In addition three special campaign are being launched

1. Against vehicle lifters

2. Checking of activities of criminals and criminal gangs.

3. Work out the theft cases, snatched  and poisoning cases.
